Goa defeats corona: All 7 patients cured
The number of corona patients is increasing throughout the country. Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh are facing the havoc of Corona. In the meantime, a very comforting news has come from Goa. Goa has become the first state in the country where all the Corona infected patients have been cured. All the patients of coronavirus have been cured here. There were a total of seven corona cases in the state, of which six were already cured. The report of the last patient came negative on Sunday, after which he too was discharged from the hospital.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that out of the seven cases of infection, the last cases were reported on April 3 and after treatment, all the samples of patients were tested and discharged from the hospital after coming back negative.
Rane tweeted, “We are proud to say that all the patients suffering from Covid-19 in Goa are cured. Not a single person in Goa is infected with the Coronavirus.” “At present, when no person is infected in the state, we have to understand the importance of lockdown, maintain social distance, investigate more and follow the rules of the central and state governments,” he said.
