Uttarakhand corona update: 32 cases found on 22 February

There were 32 more cases of corona in the state on Monday, February 22. At the same time, two corona infected patients have also died. One patient died in Max Hospital, Dehradun and one died in Srinagar Base Hospital.

According to the Health Department, on Monday, test reports of 5867 samples were received from private and government labs, out of which 5835 reports have been negative. In Dehradun, 14 people have been infected by Corona. In addition, seven people have been found infected in Haridwar, four in Udham Singh Nagar, three in Pauri, two in Tehri and one each in Nainital and Champawat. While six districts Chamoli, Bageshwar, Almora, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi have not reported any new cases of corona infection. So far 96719 cases have been reported in the state. In which 93230 people have been healthy. There are currently 411 active cases. At the same time, 1689 patients with corona infection have also died.

4793 vaccinated

Vaccination campaign continued in the state to prevent corona infection. In different districts, 4793 persons were vaccinated at 104 centers designed for vaccination. These include 2737 health workers and 2056 frontline workers. So far, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 1,39,262 persons in the state. Most health workers and frontline workers have been vaccinated in Haridwar and Dehradun.
