Lockdown to be implemented in UP from July 10 to 13

In an attempt to control the growing Corona case in the state, UP Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari issued a lockdown order. During this time markets, haats and offices of all urban and rural areas will be closed. However, there will be no restriction on essential services during this period.

This lockdown in the state will last from 10 pm on Friday night till 5 am on July 13 and during this time most things will remain closed. However, hospitals and other essential goods shops will open.

There will be no restriction on the movement of cargo vehicles during lockdown. The movement of vehicles will continue on national and state roadways. Railway traffic will continue as before.

According to the order of the government, from July 11 to 12, a massive campaign will be launched for cleanliness and sanitation and clean drinking water supply. There will be no restriction on the personnel involved in this campaign.

During this period, all construction works related to expressways, major bridges and roads will continue.
