Uttarakhand corona update: 19 cases reported on 28 August
On Saturday, 19 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Uttarakhand. At the same time 14 patients have recovered. No corona infected patient has died today. So far 3,42,894 cases of corona have been reported in the state. Of these, 3,29,136 have also defeated Corona. At present there are 326 active cases of corona infection in the state. At the same time, 7380 patients have died.
According to the Health Department, 19 new cases of corona were reported in Uttarakhand on Saturday, while 14 patients have recovered. No patient has died of corona. So far 3,42,894 cases of corona have been reported in the state. Of these, 95.99 percent i.e. 3,29,136 people have defeated Corona. Presently there are 326 active cases in the state. At the same time, 7380 corona infected patients have also died so far.
Test reports of 17,329 samples were received from private and government labs, out of which the report of 17,310 samples has come negative. Maximum six people have been found infected in Dehradun. Apart from this, three each have been found infected in Haridwar and Nainital, two each in Pauri and Rudraprayag, one each in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Udham Singh Nagar. No new case of corona has been found in Almora, Chamoli, Champawat, Tehri and Uttarkashi.
Vaccination of more than one lakh
Corona vaccination campaign is also gaining momentum in the state. For the second consecutive day, more than one lakh persons were vaccinated against corona virus in the state. 1,12,000 persons have been vaccinated at 994 centers set up for vaccination. Maximum 34,996 persons were vaccinated in Haridwar. While 27,200 people were vaccinated in Udham Singh Nagar, 21,000 in Dehradun and 9324 in Nainital. Now 63,20,410 persons have received the first dose of the vaccine in the state. At the same time, complete vaccination of 19,79,920 has been done.
