Rainfall expected in Uttarakhand from June 26
The Meteorological Department has predicted the onset of monsoon in Uttarakhand on June 28-29. However, even before this, from June 26, the sequence of rain in the state may intensify. At present, the weather has remained normal in the state for the last two days. Bright sunlight is blooming in most areas and the temperature has also increased.
No change in weather expected for next two days
The weather remained dry in most parts of the state on Thursday. The sun was shining brightly from the plains to the hills. It was cloudy in some places, but it did not rain. Due to the bright sunshine in the plains, the temperature has increased by three to four degrees Celsius, while the weather remains pleasant in the hilly areas. No significant change is expected in the weather for the next two days.
According to Bikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Center, there may be partly cloudy sky in the state on Friday and Saturday. During this, light rain may occur at isolated places in the mountainous areas. After this, the rain may intensify in the state from Sunday. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Kumaon.
