In fact, before the Investor Summit organized in December 2023, CM Dhami went on a foreign tour, where the migrants welcomed him with the customs and traditions of Uttarakhand. During this, many successful people met the Chief Minister. After this, to take advantage of the experience of such migrants, the Chief Minister directed to form a Pravasi Uttarakhandi Cell in the government as well as organize an International Pravasi Uttarakhandi Conference.
Migrants of Uttarakhand living abroad are earning name in every field. They have vast experience in knowledge, science, technology and entrepreneurship. The government wants that the migrants should use this experience to develop their states and villages. The government is ready to provide all possible help in this work. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been constantly motivating the migrants to contribute to the development of their states, which is yielding positive results.
