Tourist reach Kausani to beat the heat
Due to increase in temperature in the plains coupled with summer vacations in most schools, tourists are now turning towards the mountains. Although there is an effect of smog due to recent forest fires in Uttarakhand, the weather is not as hot as the plains. That is why areas with low temperatures are the choice of tourists.
The influx of tourists has increased in Kausani. Adventure lovers are moving further ahead towards Pindari Glacier. From Kapkot the snow ranges can be seen.
Kausani also offers a glimpse of the Himalayas. At this time, the wish to see the Himalayas may be unfulfilled due to hazy skies, but the temperature is soothing in the morning and evening.
The adventurous journey to the glaciers has started from 15th April. So far 11 teams have returned from Pindari trek. Tourists have started arriving at Kausani, Bagnath, Baijnath and other religious places.
