There is a possibility of heavy rain in the mountainous districts of Uttarakhand today (Wednesday, July 24). The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for heavy to very heavy rain in some areas of Chamoli and Bageshwar districts. While there are chances of several rounds of heavy rain in other districts of the state as well.
Meteorologists have cautioned to be vigilant during the day as well as night during the rains. Especially in sensitive areas where there is a high risk of landslides and rock falls.
