Gold at all-time high of Rs 1.10 lakh
Gold and silver prices reached an all-time high today i.e. on 12 September, 2025. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), silver has increased by Rs 3,509 to Rs 1,28,008 per kg. Yesterday the price of one kg silver was Rs 1,24,499.
During trading, the price of gold increased by Rs 744 to Rs 1,09,841. At the close of trading, gold closed at Rs 1,09,708 with a gain of Rs 611. Yesterday its price was Rs 1,09,097 per 10 grams. Gold had made an all-time high of Rs 1,09,635 and silver of Rs 1,24,770 on 9 September.
This year gold became costlier by ₹ 33,500 and silver by ₹ 41,900
So far this year, the price of gold has increased by Rs 33,546. On December 31, 2024, 10 grams of 24 carat gold was worth Rs 76,162, which has now become Rs 1,09,708.
The price of silver has also increased by Rs 41,991 during this period. On December 31, 2024, the price of one kg of silver was Rs 86,017, which has now become Rs 1,28,008 per kg.
