JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Registration Window closes on February 25, 2025. Before the deadline, candidates must register at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have not yet completed their application should act promptly to avoid last-minute technical issues or errors. Registration for JEE Main 2025 includes filling out the form, uploading documents, paying the JEE Main Application fee, etc. For the registration, candidates must pay INR 1000 (INR 500 for Reserved). 

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 exam between April 1 and April 8, 2025. According to various resources, approximately 94 institutes, including 23 IITs, will participate in the JEE Main Session-2 exams.
Last year, the total registration for JEE Main was around 9.24 lakh students across both sessions. Around 8.22 lakh candidates appeared for the JEE Main exam.   • Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Next, Click on “New Candidate Registration.”
  • If applying for Session 2:
  1. If you applied for Session 1, log in with your Session 1 application number and password/date of birth.
  2. If you did not apply for Session 1, complete the new registration process.
  • To fill out the registration form, candidates must enter their registration details and create a password.
  • Click “Submit” to finish registration.
  • Complete the application: Provide all required details and upload documents.
  • Pay the fee: Use Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI for payment.

Verify JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must verify the JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria, which include:

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing for the Class 12 board exam in 2025.

Age Limit: There are no upper age limits. 

Appearing Candidates: Candidates who have passed 2023 2024 are also eligible to apply for JEE Main 2025 Session-2.

Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt JEE Main a maximum of six times (twice a year for three consecutive years).

Passing Marks in Qualifying Examination: Candidates must obtain a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 to get into top colleges.

Subject Requirements for JEE Main: For Paper 1 (B.Tech), candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Biology in Class 12. For B.Arch candidates must have studied the PCM stream, and for B. Planning, Mathematics is mandatory in Class 12.

Review Application Fee Payment

To complete registration, candidates must pay the application fee. For male candidates, the application fee is INR 1000, and for female candidates it is INR 800. SC/ST/PwD or transgender candidates have to pay INR 500. During fee payment candidates must

  • Use a valid debit card/credit card/net banking/UPI for payment.
