
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2026 schedule on October 19th. According to the notification, the JEE Main 2026 exam will be conducted in two phases. The first session will be held between January 21st and 30th, 2026, and the second session will be held between April 1st and 10th, 2026.
Applications will begin in October
The application process for the first session will begin in October 2025. Candidates will be able to register by visiting the NTA’s official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. The application window for the second session will open in the last week of January 2026.
Furthermore, the first phase of the JEE Main 2026 exam will be held between January 21st and 30th, 2026, and the second phase will be held between April 1st and 10th, 2026.
Exam Centers Will Be Increased
According to the NTA notification, like every year, the number of candidates will increase this year as well. Therefore, for the convenience of candidates, the number of exam centers in cities will be increased so that candidates can find exam centers near their homes as per their convenience.
In addition, the NTA will also provide better facilities to candidates with disabilities.
