Valley of Flowers to open on this date in 2024 for tourists

The world famous Valley of Flowers will be opened for tourists on June 1 this year. Nanda Devi National Forest Division is busy preparing to welcome tourists in the valley these days.

Valley of Flowers is very suitable for tourists and trekking enthusiasts. Rare Himalayan plants are found in the valley full of natural beauty. There is a treasure of biodiversity here. More than 500 species of flowers bloom here.

Deputy Forest Conservator BB Martolia said, the first team will be sent to the valley from Ghangaria on June 1. The team has to return the same day after trekking in the valley. He said, the eco track fee is fixed at Rs 200 for the national tourists and Rs 800 for foreigners. The facility of tourist guide will also be available in Ghangaria.
