In view of heavy rains, District Magistrate Champawat has given instructions to close the school for 1 day on September 14, 2024.
According to the weather forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department Dehradun on September 13 at 2:00 pm, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places and heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places in Champawat district for tomorrow. Giving this information, District Magistrate Navneet Pandey issued orders that, ‘in view of the warning issued by the Meteorological Department Dehradun, keeping in mind the safety of the students and children, a one-day holiday has been declared in all the educational institutions and Anganwadi centers running from class one to class 12 in all government, non-government schools of Champawat district on 14 September 2024 (Saturday)’.
Along with this, he directed the Chief Education Officer and District Program Officer to take necessary action.
