The 9th Dehradun International Film Festival will be organized in Dehradun Silver City from 27th September. Many national and regional films will be screened in this three-day program. Many actors and actresses from the film world and film producers will be present in this program.
Sam Bahadur film specially dubbed for the visually impaired will also be screened in the film festival. Apart from this, open talent hunt will be invited from Uttarakhand in the three-day film festival and the winners will be honored and awarded.
Director Rajesh Sharma, associated with the film website and organizing the International Film Festival, said that he has been organizing the International Film Festival in Dehradun for the last 8 years.
Rajesh Sharma said that ‘the film industry in Uttarakhand has strengthened its foothold in the last few years. The policy of the Uttarakhand government has played a big role in this. Today the government is helping in shooting and film production in Uttarakhand, which is promoting original film making from Bollywood in Uttarakhand. Through the festival, he will try to provide a better platform to the film industry of Uttarakhand and the talent here.’
