Afghanistan Ireland to play international matches in Dehradun

The first international test match will be played in March 2019 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Dehradun. Afghanistan will play a Test match against Ireland in their home ground. The Afghanistan cricket team has made its home ground at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium Dehradun. The Afghanistan team has played the T20 series against Bangladesh on this field. Now Afghanistan will return once again to its home ground in the beginning of 2019. According to the ICC website, Afghanistan team will host Ireland before the World Cup. Afghanistan will play three T20 matches with Ireland in February. There will be five ODIs between the two teams in the first week of March. The only Test match between Afghanistan and Ireland will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on March 17. Earlier, Afghanistan played their first Test against India in Bangalore in 2018.
