Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has called upon the youth to donate blood and raise awareness about blood donation. The CM has appealed that a unit of blood donated by you can save the life of four persons. There was confusion in the minds of people earlier that donating blood may cause weakness or any other problem but today that confusion has gone away. It is a matter of great happiness that today people are participating more and more in blood donation. Such donors, who constantly donate blood every year, are encouraging other people to donate blood. In Dehradun, the number of blood donors donating blood more than one hundred time is increasing. Today, the Government of India has arranged to provide blood free of cost. Blood donation and organ donation is a sacred act, which gives immense spiritual happiness and satisfaction. Chief Minister visited the second Uttarakhand blood donation camp 2018 held at Pavilion ground in Dehradun on Thursday and encouraged the blood donors. The blood donation camp was organized to observe the birthday of Chief Minister as Sewa Diwas. Chief Minister celebrated his birthday by encouraging the blood donors at the blood donation camp and along with Divyang children. On this occasion Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gamma and students were present. After this, Chief Minister participated in the Blood Donation Camp 2018 at the BJP Dehradun City office and in Sunderkand Path at BJP State Office.
