Doon’s temperature reached close to all-time record, mercury reached 43 degrees

The heat of Doon is breaking records day by day. Hot winds are scorching the earth. On Wednesday, 29 May, the temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 43 degrees Celsius, just one point less than the all-time record. Earlier, on May 30, 2012, the temperature of Dehradun was 43.1 degrees Celsius. If the situation remains the same, this record too will also be broken.

On Wednesday, there was bright sunshine since morning. Hot winds during the day increased the trouble. Due to this, people had to face scorching heat. With the temperature being at record level, Wednesday was the hottest day of this year. Doon residents say that the heat is increasing here every year. Earlier fans were enough, but now it is becoming difficult to live without AC and cooler.

Chances of light rain in the mountains

According to the weather department forecast, there is a possibility of light rain on Thursday in the hilly areas of Rudraprayag, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pithoragarh districts of Uttarkashi, Tehri, Chamoli, Pauri and Nainital. There may be lightning at some places in Dehradun and Pauri and winds may blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph. Some areas may be partly cloudy. The maximum temperature of Doon may be 42 degrees and the minimum temperature may be 26 degrees Celsius.
