MBBS student dies after jumping from 6th floor at AIIMS Rishikesh

MBBS student of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh reportedly jumped from 6th floor of Medical College. The student was rushed to the Trauma Center for treatment, but the doctors declared him brought dead.

According to the Kotwali police, on Saturday, a 19 year old MBBS student, resident of Ganganagar, Rajasthan, jumped from the sixth floor of AIIMS Medical College. Seeing the blood-soaked body of the student, there was a stir among the staff, doctors and patients present nearby.

The outpost police also reached the spot immediately. The student was taken to a trauma center for treatment, but the student had died before reaching the trauma centre. Police have taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Police is collecting information about the incident from the footage of CCTV cameras. At the same time, the police is also interrogating fellow students. The deceased was MBBS second year student.
