President reaches Dehradun for two day visit

President Draupadi Murmu has reached Dehradun today on Thursday on a two-day visit. Tight security arrangements were made for her arrival. The President will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate nine projects. The President landed at Dehradun Airport located at Jollygrant in the afternoon. Here she was given a guard of honour. Governor Lt. General Gurmeet Singh (Senior) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami greeted her.

From here she reached GTC helipad by helicopter and left for Raj Bhavan. She will arrive at the Chief Minister’s residence at 6.30 pm today. Here there will be a cultural program along with civic reception. During this, the President will also address the guests present. At the same time, a documentary related to development will also be shown.

On Friday, the President will inaugurate Nakshatra Vatika at Raj Bhavan. She will attend the program of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. From there she will return to Dehradun at 2 pm. She will attend the convocation ceremony of Doon University at 4 pm. After which she will leave for Delhi.
