Schools in Dehradun district to remain closed on 26 July
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in Dehradun district on Friday. Keeping in mind the heavy to very heavy rain warning issued by the Meteorological Center and Disaster Management Authority, the district administration has decided to close all Anganwadi centers and all public and private schools from class 1 too 12 in Dehradun district on Friday, July 26, 2024. Orders for this have been issued.
Meteorological department issues warning for three districts including Dehradun
Meteorological Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that on Thursday, light to moderate rain is expected in most parts of Dehradun, Tehri, Haridwar, Bageshwar, Nainital, Champawat, Pauri and Udham Singh Nagar. Apart from this, there is an alert for heavy rain in some places in Dehradun, Nainital and Bageshwar district.
