Tapkeshwar shobha yatra today, know traffic diversion plan in Dehradun

If you are going out in the city for any work in Dehradun today, then it is advised to go after seeing the traffic plan issued by the police. On Saturday, Shri Tapkeshwar Shobha Yatra is to be taken out from Shivaji Dharamshala. For this, the police has prepared a traffic plan, so that the common people do not have to face any trouble.

SSP Ajai Singh said that during this Shobha Yatra, avoid traveling to Saharanpur Road, Ghantaghar, Chakrata Road, Ballupur to Ghantaghar etc. to avoid inconvenience from 10 am to 6 pm. He said that emergency vehicles will be allowed to go.

  • Vehicles coming from Shivaji Dharamshala to Niranjanpur Mandi Lalpul, Matawalabag Cut to Saharanpur Chowk will be diverted to GMS Road
  • Before the Shobha Yatra reaches Saharanpur Chowk, no vehicle will go towards Saharanpur Chowk from Balliwala, Laxman Chowk. Traffic will be diverted from Balliwala towards Kamala Palace, from Laxman Chowk towards Park Road.

-The procession will enter Jhanda Bazar from Saharanpur Chowk.

-When the procession reaches clock tower, the traffic coming from Rajpur Road will be diverted from Orient Chowk towards Kanak Chowk. The traffic going to Ghantaghar from Buddha Chowk, Darshanlal, Tehsil Chowk will be diverted from Darshanlal Chowk towards Lansdowne Chowk.

-When the front part of the procession reaches Bindal trijunction, the traffic going from Ballupur to clock tower will be diverted from Ballupur Chowk. The procession will be stopped and the traffic going to clock tower will be diverted from Kishannagar Chowk.

-When the rear part of the procession passes Bindal, all diversions will be normalized.

From Shivaji Dharamshala to Saharanpur Chowk, Jhanda Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Ghantaghar, Bindal, Cantt area, Dakra Bazaar, Garhi Cantt Chowk to Tapkeshwar Bazaar Temple.
