5 special trains to run from Delhi to Haridwar for Kanwar Yatra
Keeping in mind the Kanwar Yatra 2024 starting from July 22, special trains will be operated by Northern Railway. In this, four trains have been extended till Haridwar. At the same time, it has also been decided to run five fair special trains. Along with additional stoppage of 14 trains, additional coaches will also be added to some trains.
According to Northern Railway Chief Spokesperson Deepak Kumar, keeping in mind the Kanwar fair to be held in Haridwar, additional trains will be operated between July 22 and August 19. Special trains will also be run if required. Three empty racks have been kept ready for this.
Routes of these trains extended
He said that train number 04465/66 running between Delhi Junction and Shamli will be run till Haridwar. This train will go from Delhi Junction to Haridwar from July 21 to August 3, while it will return from Haridwar to Delhi from July 22 to August 4.
Train number 04403/04 Saharanpur Delhi Junction Special Train has been extended till Haridwar. This train will go from Delhi Junction to Haridwar from 22nd July to 3rd August, whereas it will come from Haridwar to Delhi Junction from 23rd July to 4th August. As a fair special train, train number 04324 will run from Haridwar to Delhi Junction from 29th July to 2nd August.
At the same time, train number 04323 will go from Delhi Junction to Haridwar during this period. Train number 04330 will run between Rishikesh to Delhi Junction from 29th July to 2nd August. During the same period, train number 04329 will run between Delhi Junction and Rishikesh.
