Former Prime Minister and BJP leader Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee breathed his last today in AIIMS. The 93 year old charismatic leader was a 3 time Prime Minister of India. Besides being a politician he was a great orator and was famous for his one-liners and poetic creations. He was admitted in AIIMS from June 11 but his health deteriorated last night after which he was put on life support. Many politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached AIIMS to pay tributes to their former leader. In 2009 he suffered a stroke that weakened his cognitive abilities and left him on a wheelchair. AIIMS confirmed about the news of the former PM’s demise in a medical bulletin at 5:30 PM.
