Former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry dies in road accident
Former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry has died in a road accident near Mumbai as per media reports. This accident happened in Palghar near Mumbai. The incident happened around 3 pm today.
It was reported that the car in which he was traveling met with an accident and ended up hitting a divider. It is also being said at the time of the incident and there were four people in the vehicle at that time. Mistry was 54 years old.

Palghar police officer said that former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry was on his way from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. During the journey, his car collided with the divider. There were 4 people in the car. Two died on the spot and two were taken to the hospital.
Cyrus Pallonji Mistry was a businessman who became the chairman of the Tata Group on 28 December 2012. Later, on 24 October 2016, Cyrus Mistry stepped down from the post of chairman.
