Chardham Yatra 2025: Doors of Badrinath temple opened, devotees gather in large numbers
The doors of Badrinath temple have been opened for devotees at 6 am today May 4 for the Chardham Yatra 2025 season. As soon as the doors opened, the Dham echoed with the chants of Jai Badri Vishal. At the same time, flowers were showered on the devotees from a helicopter. On the opening of the doors of Badrinath, devotees from the country and abroad have reached the Dham to see the Akhand Jyoti. More than 10,000 devotees have reached the Dham.

CM Dhami also reached Badrinath on the occasion of opening of the doors of the Dham. He worshiped after paying obeisance to Lord Badri Vishal.
Badrinath temple decorated with 40 quintals of marigold flowers
Badrinath temple has been decorated with 40 quintals of marigold flowers for the inauguration of the doors. The work of flower decoration continued on the top part of the Singhdwar of the temple till late evening.
Administration aims to make Badrinath polythene free
The Chamoli district administration has decided to keep the Badrinath pilgrimage polythene free this year. District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari has urged the hotel and dhaba operators located at the Dham and Yatra halts to minimize the use of polythene.
