NEET UG result should be released city and center wise: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has not yet taken a decision on whether the NEET UG 2024 exam be cancelled or not. Candidates will have to wait longer. The hearing continued for 4 hours today (July 18) as well. During this, the apex court directed the NTA to upload the results of all the candidates on the website by 12 noon on Saturday. The result should be centerwise and citywise.

The court said, ‘The identity of the candidate should not be revealed while uploading the result. We will start the next hearing on Monday, July 22 at 10:30 am. So that we can draw a conclusion by noon. We also want a copy of the Bihar Police report.’

The third hearing was on July 18 in the Supreme Court

The third hearing was on Thursday in the Supreme Court on 40 petitions related to irregularities in NEET UG 2024 exam. Earlier it was held on July 8 and then on July 11. A division bench of CJI DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra is hearing the case.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta presented arguments on behalf of the government. The counsel for the petitioner is Advocate Narinder Hooda.
