The weather changed on Wednesday. After several days of intense sunshine, the district remained cloudy throughout the day. Snow fell in the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat areas of Pithoragarh district. Snowfall also fell on the higher peaks of Munsyari.

The sky remained overcast since Wednesday morning. The clouds thickened in the afternoon, raising hopes of rain, but they were disappointed. Cold winds throughout the day in Didihat, Dharchula, Berinag, and Gangolihat, including the district headquarters, caused temperatures to drop, forcing people to bring out their warm clothing again.
