Under construction bridge collapsed on Rishikesh-Badrinath highway, 6 injured

Two laborers were killed and 6 were injured when the shuttering of an under-construction bridge overturned near Narkota on the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway. On receiving the information, DDRF, SDRF, Fire Service and Police reached the spot and did the rescue work. All the injured have been admitted to the district hospital.

A major accident took place in Narkota on Rishikesh Badrinath Highway in Rudraprayag on Wednesday morning. Two laborers died after the setting of the under-construction bridge collapsed. The SDRF team reached the spot and started the rescue to evacuate the workers. Eight laborers were employed here. That’s when the accident happened. Two laborers lost their lives in this accident. While six were injured.
