Asian Champions Trophy 2024: India defeats Korea 3-1

Defending champions India remained unbeaten in the Hero Asian Champions Trophy 2024. India registered their fourth consecutive win with a 3-1 win against Korea at the Moki Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir, China on Thursday. Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored in the 9th and 43rd minutes to give India the win. Apart from him, Arijit Singh Hundal scored in the 8th minute.

The Indian team has already confirmed its place in the semi-finals. Talking about the match, defending champions India started the match brilliantly. Arijit Hundal scored in the 8th minute to give India the lead right from the beginning. Hundal converted Vivek Sagar Prasad’s pass into a goal. In the very next minute, captain Harmanpreet Singh doubled India’s lead by scoring from a penalty corner. This was Harmanpreet’s 200th international goal.
