BCCI announced central contract 2024-25, these 34 players are included in the list

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the central contract for Team India for the 2024-25 season (October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025). The list released by the board includes a total of 34 players. As expected, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli have been kept in the A+ category, it includes a total of 4 players. Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have got their contracts back, who were dropped last year.

Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan were dropped from the central contract by BCCI due to not playing the domestic series. Shreyas Iyer’s performance was excellent this season, he also performed brilliantly in the Champions Trophy. For this performance, he was also given the Player of the Month award by the ICC in the month of March. Ishan Kishan’s performance in domestic was also excellent. It was expected that both would get the contract back. BCCI has included Shreyas Iyer in Grade B and Ishan Kishan in Grade C in the new contract.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja.

Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant.

Indian cricketers included in Grade B

Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer.

Indian cricketers included in Grade C

Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Varun Chakraborty, Harshit Rana.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Jaspreet Bumrah have been included in Grade A+, all of them were in the same category last year as well. Apart from this, 6 players have been included in Grade A and 5 in Grade B. There are a total of 19 players in Grade C, many of whom have received BCCI’s annual contract for the first time.
