Paris Olympics 2024: Badminton star Lakshya Sen starts with a win

Indian badminton star Lakshya Sen has started his Paris Olympics 2024 campaign with a great win. Playing against Guatemala’s Kevin Cordon in the first group match, he gave a brilliant performance. After winning the first game in just 14 minutes, he came back after falling behind in the second game and won the match. Lakshya won the match against the Guatemalan player 21-8 and 22-20.

Lakshya Sen has started the Paris Olympics with a win in his own style. The country is expecting a medal from India’s star studded badminton contingent. In the first group match, this player was up against Guatemala’s Kevin Cordon. Starting aggressively, Lakshya finished the first game in just 14 minutes. He took the lead by making the game one-sided with a big margin of 21-8.

Lakshya’s tremendous comeback

In the second game, the Guatemalan player made a comeback and Lakshya was trailing by 5 points. At one point, the second game seemed to be slipping out of hand but this Indian player used his experience to break the game point and win the game by a margin of 22-20 to win the match. Lakshya came back in the game when he was trailing by 20-18 and then won it to start the Paris Olympics with a victory.
