Google introduces ‘People Card’ feature in India

Google has introduced the feature of People Cards feature in India for mobile search users. This feature will help you find the exact person you are searching for. The new feature helps users to create a virtual visiting card, where you can enter only the information you want to show to the world.

Google search product manager Lauren Clarke said, “This feature is being launched in India to find their name. This will help people who either work alone or run a business.” Lauren said that only one card can be created through each account. Spam and protection will be facilitated for protection. Content policies will apply to the cards. Human review will also be done where necessary. The card will show photos, occupation and location so that people with the same name can be kept separately. Users will also have the option to add their home town and social media profiles.

How to setup Google People Card

To avail this facility, the user has to search his name on his phone or search by typing ‘add me to search’. Once their name appears, they can click ‘get started’ and add the information they want to show the world. However, to do this the user must be logged into their Google accounts. You can easily take advantage of this by using Add me to search in your phone.
