Car plunges into canal in Kichha, four family members killed

In a tragic accident, the car of a family going to Kichha after the delivery of a child from Sushila Tiwari Hospital fell into the canal. The incident took place in the canal in front of the Mandi Samiti gate at 7 am on Wednesday. As per reports, four people died in this unfortunate road accident. Two are seriously injured. While the woman in the car survived, her child born three days ago could not be saved. Her husband also died.

In this incident which took place behind the fire station, the fire personnel immediately started a rescue operation. During this, a fire personnel also got swept away in the flow of the canal, but he saved the car driver as well as his own life.
