Corona curfew extended till 10th May in Dehradun, Haridwar and US Nagar districts

CM Tirath Singh Rawat’s today had a formal meeting with ministers over the rising corona cases in the state. However, there was no consensus of complete lockdown in Uttarakhand in the meeting. But the Corona curfew has been extended till May 10 in the entire district of Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. Government spokesman Subodh Uniyal spoke to the media about this. He said that till now Corona curfew was imposed in some areas of these districts, but now Corona curfew will be imposed in the entire district. Earlier the curfew was till the morning of May 6, but after today’s meeting it has been extended to May 10.

The District Magistrate will take his own decision as to how to take action in the district. Apart from this, the shops of groceries can no longer be opened everyday. Alternate days will be arranged for this. However, there is a demand in the state that a lockdown of at least 15 days should be imposed. At present, the Corona curfew has been increased till May 10 in Dehradun, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. On the other hand, orders for Chamoli, Pauri Nainital, Nainital and Tehri have also been issued by the district authorities. The big news at the moment is that curfew has been extended till May 10 in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar districts.
