Meteorological dept forecasts rain in Uttarakhand on Feb 26 and 27

There is a possibility of light rain in all the districts of the state along with snowfall in the high altitude areas. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for rain and snowfall on 26 and 27 February.

Meteorologists say that due to the activation of Western Disturbance, the weather is changing intermittently in Uttarakhand. The temperature is falling due to the increase in cold winds. Due to which there is a possibility of rain and snowfall. According to the forecast issued by the Center, there is a possibility of light rain with strong thunder in some parts of Uttarkashi and Tehri districts including Dehradun on 26 February.

Rains expected in the state on 26 and 27 February

On 27 February, there is a possibility of light rain in the entire state except Bageshwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. Whereas due to snowfall in the mountainous areas, a drop in temperature can be recorded in the entire state.
