Over 2 lakh register for Char Dham Yatra 2023

So far over two lakh devotees have registered for Chardham Yatra 2023. 1.12 lakh pilgrims have registered for Kedarnath and 92 thousand for Badrinath. Yogendra Gangwar, deputy director of the tourism department, said that registration for Chardham Yatra was started on February 21.

Within 13 days, more than two lakh devotees have registered online for Kedarnath and Badrinath. He informed that the registration for both the remaining two Dhams will be started only after the date of opening of the portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham is formally decided.

Hotels, lodges, restaurant operators of Kedarnath region have started receiving bookings for the upcoming Kedarnath Yatra. Since the announcement of the date of opening of the doors, 15 to 20 percent bookings have been received so far.

There are small and big hotels, lodges, restaurants in Kedarnath, Guptkashi, Phata, Sersi, Sitapur, Rampur, Sonprayag and Gaurikund. Where there is a lot of crowd of devotees during the travel time. The doors of Kedarnath are opening from 25th April this year, for this the operators of these establishments have started getting bookings.

So far 15 to 20 percent bookings have been received, in which many hotel operators have received bookings from the last week of May to the first week of June.
