UOU First year students to be promoted on the basis of assignments

About 50 thousand students of the first and second semester / year registered in Uttarakhand Open University will be promoted to the next class on the basis of assignment. If a candidate is not happy with his / her marks then he / she will get a chance to take an improvement exam.

They will be awarded Theory marks based on the marks of assignment. The Vice Chancellor said that a separate back examination form can be filled for the improvement of marks.

Application date extended

The UOU has extended the application date for admission to the new session till 20 October. University’s Public Relations Officer Dr. Rakesh Rayal said that earlier this date was only till September 30.

On Tuesday a meeting of the examination committee was held under the chairmanship of OPS Negiat at UOU’s Haldwani Teenpani campus. In which many important decisions were taken regarding examinations. VC Prof. Negi said that the students of first and second semester will be promoted / passed under the instructions and rules of UGC due to Covid-19.

In addition to the first year and second year of the Uttarakhand Open University, the first year postgraduate students will be promoted to the next class. This opportunity will not be available to the students who do not submit the assignments till October 15 and will have to apply for the back exam in future.
