Uttarakhand Corona news: 264 new cases on 01 August
On Saturday, Uttarakhand saw a steep rise in Corona cases, including Nainital. Today 264 new cases of corona were reported in Uttarakhand, after which the figure of corona patients in Uttarakhand has reached 7447. At the same time 162 infected patients recovered and discharged. 83 corona infected have died in Uttarakhand so far.
Today, 4 new cases have been reported in Almora, 31 in Bageshwar, 4 in Champawat, 27in Dehradun , 42 in Haridwar , 95 in Nainital , 4 in Pauri, 7 in Pithoragarh, 1 in Rudraprayag, 2 in Tehri, 30 in Udham Singh Nagar and 17 in Uttarkashi.
On Saturday, samples of 4134 people have been sent from different districts of the state for examination. Out of which 695 from Haridwar, 665 from Tehri and 405 samples have been sent from Dehradun district for investigation. So far, more than one lakh 72 thousand samples have been sent for investigation in the state.
Out of this, nearly one lakh 53 thousand samples have come negative. While the report of about eight thousand samples is yet to come. The rate of corona patients doubling in the state is 23 days, corona infection rate is 4.62 percent while the recovery rate of patients is 58 percent.
There are 2996 active Corona cases in Uttarakhand, with the maximum being in Haridwar- 926, followed by Udham Singh Nagar- 809 and Nainital with 508 cases. While District Dehradun leads the list with the most cases detected till date (1686). It is in the fourth spot in terms of active cases (394).
There are 330 containment zones across 4 districts in Uttarakhand as of 01 August 2020.
