Uttarakhand corona update: 16 new cases reported on 23 October

In the last 24 hours, 16 new corona infected have been found in the state. At the same time, not a single patient has died. While 13 patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active patients has reached 169.

According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, the test report of 12351 samples has come negative on Saturday. Not a single infected patient has been found in nine districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi. At the same time, nine infected patients have been found in Dehradun, two each in Haridwar and Pithoragarh and three in Nainital.

Infection rate reached 0.13 percent

So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 343815. Of these, 330112 people have been cured. A total of 7398 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state. The recovery rate of the state has been recorded at 96.01 percent and infection rate of 0.13 percent.

So far 7451660 have been partially vaccinated in Uttarakhand while 3627207 have received both doses of vaccine.
