Uttarakhand corona update: 171 cases found on 22 February
In Uttarakhand, 171 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours while one corona infected patient died. Now there are 1079 active cases of Covid in the state. According to the information released by the Health Department, out of 171 new cases of Covid in the state on Tuesday, Dehradun has the highest number of 76 cases.
18 cases were found in Haridwar, 13 in Pauri, 10 each in Almora and Rudraprayag, 3 in Bageshwar, 7 in Champawat, 11 in Nainital, 8 in Pithoragarh, 3 in Tehri and 6 each in Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi. At the same time, a corona infected patient died at Synergy Hospital in Dehradun.
On Tuesday, 156 patients won the battle against Covid in the state. Now 1079 active cases of corona are left in the state. These include maximum 226 cases in Champawat, 204 in Haridwar, 129 in Dehradun, 102 in Chamoli. On Tuesday, anti-Covid vaccine was given to 18016 people in the state. So far 85,63,095 people have been given the first dose and 78,60,603 have been given both the doses. Close to 4 lakh precautionary doses have been given in the state.
