According to the information released by the Health Department, four new cases of corona have been reported in Almora, one in Champawat and Haridwar, seven in Dehradun, two in Nainital and Pithoragarh and nine in Udham Singh Nagar district. At the same time, now there are 142 active cases of Covid in the state, out of which 59 are from Dehradun.
The Health Department has become very cautious about the new variant of Corona, Omicron. The Health Department has built three more new corona testing centers in the Haridwar rural area. The scope of corona testing is continuously being expanded by the Health Department. Checking is being done at the centers daily. Now three new centers have been opened by the department to increase the corona tests in the town. Three to four hundred people are being screened daily at these centers.
