The weather department has issued an alert of heavy rain in ten districts of the state on Sunday. Weather director Dr. Bikram Singh said that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in Chamoli and Bageshwar districts. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in some places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat and Pithoragarh districts.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning with thunder in other districts. On the other hand, light to moderate rain occurred in various areas of the state on Saturday. The temperature of Doon was recorded 30.5 degree Celsius.
