Google working on end to end encryption for text messages

If you are also concerned about the security of Android phone’s Messenger app, then this news is for you. Google has said that it is going to bring end to end encryption features for Android users soon. After end to end encryption, the messenger of Android phone will also be completely secure and the message information will remain with the sender and receiver only. That is, apart from two people, no one can read the message.

Google has said that it will soon be connecting SMS with the Reach Communication Service (RCS) feature. Soon it will be released for all Android devices. End to end encryption is already on Facebook-owned WhatsApp. Telegram is also end to end encrypted.

Significantly, Google has released a new update for Android messaging app Google Message a few days ago. After the new update, the messages will be divided into categories. For example, all the messages with OTP will appear in one place and one in the transaction. Google was testing this messaging feature for a long time and now many users are also getting new updates.

This feature was first released by Samsung. After that, this feature is also available with iOS 14. After the new update, Android messaging app will get many categories like Personal, Transaction, OTP, Offers and Travel, however, even after the new update, this feature will not be on by default in the messaging app. You will be able to turn it on and off in the Google Message app from the menu settings.
