New feature of Google Maps to help EV owners

To reduce this problem of people, Google Maps has introduced new features to help electric vehicle owners find the nearest charging station.

Google has recently written a blog post saying that they are bringing many new features for electric vehicle drivers in Google Maps and Search. With the help of these features, people will be able to easily find a place to charge their vehicle and will also be able to plan in advance for long journeys.

New feature on Google Maps for EV vehicles

Finding a charging station is sometimes difficult for electric vehicle owners, especially in unfamiliar places or in multi-storey parking lots. To reduce this problem, Google Maps will now show small details created by AI (Artificial Intelligence) with the help of information received from user reviews. In these details, the exact location of the charging station and the easy way to reach there will be told.

Will be able to find nearby EV stations in car map

Nearby charging stations will now be visible on Google Maps installed in the vehicle. It will also be told how many charging points are vacant there and how quickly the vehicle can be charged. This feature will come in a few months in all the vehicles in which Google Maps is already installed.

Will tell- whether the hotel has charging facility or not

Now you can go to google.com/travel and see which hotels have the facility to charge electric vehicles. With the help of this new filter, you can see whether your car can be charged there or not while searching for a hotel for a long journey.
