Youth protest against ‘Agnipath’ recruitment scheme in many districts

In Uttarakhand too, the opposition to the Agnipath recruitment scheme has started. In Kumaon, youths protested against the central government. Youth preparing for army recruitment in 6 cities of the division came on the road and blocked the roads fiercely opposing the plan. From the field to the mountain, anger is building among the youth about the decision of the government.

Demonstrations are being raised in Pithoragarh, Champawat, Bageshwar, Khatima, Tanakpur and Bajpur to withdraw the scheme. In the border area of ​​Pithoragarh, the youth have blocked the NH itself. In such a situation, the traffic system has been affected there.

At the same time, youths protested in Bajpur. Preparations are being made to take out rally in Almora tomorrow.

In Dehradun the situation was the same. On Thursday, youths preparing for recruitment demonstrated against it at clock tower and Lansdowne Chowk. The youth also opposed this plan said that this is not a job but a scheme to make the youth unemployed by luring them.

They said that if the government wants to provide employment, then all the vacant posts in the army should be filled permanently.
