Night curfew to be implemented in Delhi from December 27

Common and new Omicron cases of corona virus have started increasing in Delhi. In view of this, the Delhi government has decided to impose night curfew in the state on Sunday. Night curfew will be implemented in Delhi from Monday 27 December. During this time only people connected with emergency services will be able to go out.

A record 290 cases of corona have been found in Delhi on Sunday and one person has died. Earlier on Saturday, 279 corona patients were found in Delhi and one person died. This is the seventh death due to corona infection in this month. On Thursday, 125 people were found infected in the capital, but on Friday this number had increased to 180.

These restrictions will remain in Delhi

With the implementation of Night Curfew, no event will be held after 11 pm. In such a situation, all hotels, restaurants, farm houses, pubs will be closed before 11 pm. Whereas the New Year celebration itself starts after 11 pm. Amidst the threat of Omicron, the night curfew on New Year’s celebration is going to spoil the whole plans of restaurant and bar business. Concern has increased due to the derailment of this business, which was barely back on track during the pandemic.
