Corona active cases fall below 10,000 in Uttarakhand

The downtrend of Corona graph in Uttarakhand continued on Tuesday, Sep 29,  493 new corona patients were found in the state. While 1413 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery. With this, the total number of corona patients found in the state has increased to 47995. While so far 38059 patients have been cured after treatment.

According to a bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Tuesday, 1 in Almora, 6 in Bageshwar, 13 in Chamoli, 15 in Champawat, 174 in Dehradun, 53 in Haridwar, 47 in Nainital, 15 in Pithoragarh, four in Rudraprayag, 65 in Tehri,  60 in Udham Singh Nagar and 40 in Uttarkashi district.

While Three Corona positives admitted in AIIMS Rishikesh, two admitted in Doon Hospital, four admitted to Haldwani Medical College, one admitted to SN Hospital Almora and admitted to Base Hospital Almora died.

With this, the total number of corona positive patients in the state has increased to 591. On Tuesday, 9330 samples have been sent from various hospitals in the state for examination today. While the report of about ten thousand samples came and the report of about 12 thousand samples is yet to come.

Less than 10 thousand active patients

For the last few days, the number of patients who have been cured in comparison to new patients has increased due to which the rate of recovery in the state has gone up and the total number of active patients has also come down to less than ten thousand. After the recovery of 1413 patients on Tuesday, the number of active patients is now 9122.

With this, the state’s recovery rate has gone up to more than 79 percent. The rate of doubling of patients in the state has reached 44 days. While the decline in infection rate has been recorded. The infection rate in the state stood at 7.09 percent on Tuesday.
