Uttarakhand team wins national level archery tournament
Uttarakhand’s team won the overall championship in the National Archery Championship held on May 6-7 in Ajmer’s Sports Sports Academy. On Monday, the team was welcomed at Social Balluni Public School, Haridwar Bypass Road on the return to Doon.
In the competition, Kartik Rana got gold in 30 meters and silver in 40 meters in senior category. In the Olympic round, Kartik achieved won gold medals in 30 meters and 40 meters in the junior category. Sudhanshu Bisht won silver in 30 meters and bronze medal in 40 meters in junior category.
Sunidhi Bijlwan won gold in 30 meters and silver in 50 meters of Senior Girls category. In Junior girl category Sunidhi won the silver medal At the same time, Sunidhi succeeded in winning gold medal in the team event.
Apart from this, Anushka Rawat won gold in 50 meter and silver medal in 30 meters of Senior Girls category. Vipin Baluni, managing director of Social Baluni Public School, said that the medal winners are all students from their school.
