Online registration for Chardham Yatra 2024 begins from today
Devotees coming from all over the country and the world can register for Chardham Yatra 2024 from today. The website will open for registration from 7 am. Apart from this, registration facility of mobile app, WhatsApp number and toll free number is also available. Registration will be mandatory for devotees visiting Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham.
After the date of opening of doors of Charondham has been decided, the Tourism Department has completed the preparations for registration. This time, the registration facility is being given to the pilgrims 25 days before the start of Chardham Yatra. So that pilgrims coming from outside the state can make their travel plans and register easily. This time too, pilgrims from any corner of the country can register themselves through four mediums. For registration, details of traveling members along with name, mobile number and address of place of residence will have to be provided.
How to register for Chardham Yatra 2024?
Registration can be done by logging on to the website of the Tourism Department, registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. Apart from this, you can also register by sending a message by writing yatra (travel) on WhatsApp number-8394833833. For those travelers who are not able to register on the website, the Tourism Department has provided the facility of registration by calling the toll free number – 0135-1364. Also, you can register through touristcarertarakhand mobile app on smart phone.
Last year 74 lakh pilgrims had registered
Last year, more than 74 lakh pilgrims had registered for the Chardham Yatra. In this, 56 lakh pilgrims visited Chardham during the entire yatra period. This time also the department expects the number of devotees to increase.
Registration for the devotees coming for Chardham Yatra is being started from April 15, 2024. Chardham Yatra is starting from 10th May. It is mandatory for the devotees coming for the Yatra to register.
