Rishabh Pant made brand ambassador of Uttarakhand

The state government has appointed Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant as the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand. On Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will honor Rishabh Pant at the Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi.

Rishabh Pant, the wicket-keeper batsman in the Indian cricket team, is a native of Roorkee in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand. It was here that his early education took place. He plays Ranji from Delhi.

The state government has decided to appoint the talented wicket keeper batsmen to team India as the state brand ambassador to encourage the youth towards sports and public health. Aged just 24 years, Pant has already amassed a huge fan following thanks to his iconic knocks outside Asia and his quirky commentary behind the stumps.

Chief Minister Dhami himself gave information from the post on social media

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself gave information about this by posting in the internet media. The state government was in constant touch with Rishabh Pant to make him the brand ambassador. This was confirmed by Special Principal Secretary Sports Abhinav Kumar. He said that orders have been issued in this regard. A program is being organized in his honor in Uttarakhand Sadan on Thursday.

Former Indian team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has also been the state brand ambassador of Uttarakhand.
